I've always thought that true love is like a heroin addiction.  You can never get enough of it and denying it, once the relationship begins, becomes a sickness of sorts.  In my opinion, it is better to feel love and to risk than to never experience life's greatest gift.  Without love, life is flat, boring and mundane.  
But life with love, comes a serious responsiblity.  Responsiblity for other's feelings and their vulnerablity.  A need to protect their heart, honor them and obey morally.  A covenant of the soul, to be frank.   A responsibility to not be selfish and take more than you should.  As humans, it is our nature to be selfish.  Life is a constant battle of balance.  
Love is blind. When it hits you like a ton of bricks, it cannot be denied.  However, it can be controlled and channeled into something beautiful and wonderful.  It can inspire you and fill you with happiness.  Falling in love, true love, only happens a few times in a person's lifetime.  So honor it, cherish it and enjoy the delicate journey of life's greatest gift and adventure.
